About Us

DMS is a healthcare services company with two operating divisions: Medical Staffing and Home Care.  Our Home Care division provides compassionate and trusted in-home care to the elderly and disabled.  Our Healthcare Staffing division provides per diem and contract staff to hospitals, skilled and long term care facilities, clinics and medical practices.

DMS is devoted to providing and maintaining a strong company culture that focuses on not only our clients, but also our employees. Though most of our employees are out and about making a difference in medical and home care settings, they are highly valued employees and receive the same treatment as the employees in our office.

Inc. magazine recognized DMS as one of America’s fastest growing private companies.  We have been able to accomplish this by having a strong focus on our highly skilled and responsive staff. We offer comprehensive training programs to better prepare our employees for the fulfilling, rewarding, and growing healthcare industry. Diversified Medical Staffing (DMS) has been providing affordable, quality staffing services in Michigan for over 30 years.

What most excites you about your work and the contribution you can make?
I do the billing and payroll for DMS and I look at it like a puzzle.  All the pieces have to fit together perfectly in order for the operations to run correctly.  I love putting those puzzle pieces together and have everything balance at the end of the day.

What is your most treasured possession?
Although I know that a person isn’t technically a possession of another, I still consider my kids the most treasured thing in my life.  Second to my kids is all of my photographs.  I love looking back on all our wonderful memories over the years and watching my boys grow up all over again through photos.

What talent would you most like to have?
I wish I had the ability to sing like an angel.  I absolutely love music but I can’t carry a tune if my life depended on it.

Emily Potratz
Administrative Assistant

Have you met Ms. Emily? Emily Potratz has a knack for organization and thinking outside of the box. When Emily is not working, she spends her free time outdoors with her family. Her other main interests include reading fiction, skateboarding, classic video games on the N64, NES, and Sega, and going to the beach.

Emily is also proud to work with an international women’s sorority, Beta Sigma Phi, where she volunteers and raises money for local organizations like the Ronald McDonald House and the ASPCA. If she had to give up anything, it would be impossible for her to give up chocolate Milk.

Emily’s favorite vacation was the trip she took to the Caribbean with her mother when she was 14. Her favorite action hero is Superman; Emily owns many pieces of Superman merchandise (and all Superman movies).

What most people don’t know about Emily is that she loves music and singing.

Another fun fact is that Emily can’t stop talking about her lovely daughter, Eloise.
